This series looks to explore the symbiotic relationship that exists between identity and home. Each piece incorporates an individual’s fingerprint (representing identity) and an image that represents their home. Through the use of images overlaid with the embroidered fingerprints, the works seek to demonstrate how each individual’s definition of home helps to create their identity.
